Take a winning ticket to an authorized retailer and walk out with cash — no wallet or withdrawal needed.
How it works
An authorized Lotri retailer can pay a winning ticket in cash, on the spot. You show the cashier your ticket — the printed slip, or the code in the Lotri Ayiti app — they scan it, the system confirms it's an unredeemed winner, and they hand you the ticket's full winning amount from their drawer. The same amount is debited from your Lotri Ayiti wallet the instant they pay you — the prize landed there automatically when the draw settled, and cashing out at a retailer is what moves it back out, fee-free. You don't need a mobile-money account, just the prize still sitting unspent in your wallet.
Step by step
Open the Tickets page, or scan the ticket, and confirm the status reads "Winning." Only an unredeemed, unclaimed winner can be paid out.
Use Find a retailer (the map) to see Lotri retailers near you. Any active retailer location can pay out.
Hand over the printed ticket, or open it in the app and show the 10-character code. That code is all the cashier needs.
The cashier scans or types the code, confirms the win, and pays you in cash while your wallet is debited the same amount. They may photograph the receipt for their records — that's normal.
What to bring
Keep it simple:
- Your ticket — the printed slip, or the code open in the Lotri Ayiti app.
- A government ID for large wins — wins above 100,000 HTG need a one-time identity check, the same threshold as every other payout.
You can claim a winning ticket digitally in the app instead — it credits your Lotri Ayiti wallet instantly, and from there you can withdraw to MonCash, Natcom, your bank, or cash. The retailer option is for when you'd rather walk away with physical cash, with no account required.
Common questions
Which retailers can pay out my ticket?
Any authorized, active Lotri retailer — they show up on the Find-a-retailer map. A cashier can only pay tickets at their own shop, so the payout is always tied to a real location.
Do I get the full amount?
Yes — you receive the ticket's full winning amount in cash, no fee taken.
What if I already spent the prize from my wallet?
The retailer can't pay you — cashing out debits the same prize money from your wallet, so if you've already withdrawn or spent it there's nothing left to move. Withdraw whatever remains in your wallet instead.
What if the retailer doesn't have enough cash?
Big wins can be more than a small shop keeps on hand. Try a larger or busier retailer, or claim the ticket digitally in the app and withdraw from your wallet instead.
Can I still claim in the app instead?
Absolutely. A winning ticket can be claimed digitally to your wallet, or redeemed for cash at a retailer — whichever you prefer. Once it's been paid one way, it can't be paid again.
What if I lose the paper ticket?
If the ticket is in your app, the code is what matters. Treat a printed winning ticket like cash until it's redeemed.
